From September 12 - 21, 2018 six students and two professors from the Theatre School at the Universidad Mayor in Santiago, Chile will be in residence at MSU to participate in the final phase of a three-semester exchange with BFA Acting students and faculty in the Department of Theatre and Dance. This program, the Devised Theatre Project of the Americas (DTPA), was made possible by a generous grant from the U.S. State Department and Partners of the Americas as well as support from the Office of International Engagement and the Department of Theatre and Dance. The DTPA features the creation of a bi-lingual devised theatre piece over three semesters with exchanges in both countries.
